Assess immediate danger to the casualty and crew.

Contact emergency services.

Use VHF Channel 16 when marine rescue coordination is appropriate.

Give vessel position, nature of emergency and patient information requested.

Follow directions from qualified responders.

Provide first aid, CPR or AED care within your training.

Prepare the vessel for rendezvous, evacuation or return to harbor.

No app card should attempt to replace qualified medical instruction.
